Of all the self-help books I’ve read, nothing really turned my life around more than one simple ritual: a selfish morning shower. Why selfish? Because I take my time. I close the bathroom door. And I switch my phone off to let the day’s drama pause. I don’t rush. And I sip my coffee while the hot water runs down my back and shoulders.

The most important thing is how it smells. I made our Body Wash when I was going through some difficult stuff. I mention that only because it was a time when I was trying to wake myself up. I needed some electricity. I had felt disconnected from my body and wanted to feel alive again. And it makes my body feel alive again.
